Closer to Yourself. Every Day.

I want to support people in finding their way back to themselves, so they can see more clearly, make more conscious decisions, and take better care of themselves.

My work brings together medical expertise, lived experience, and one central question: how do we find our own path and continue to follow it, especially when life challenges us?

Closer to Yourself

For many years, I have been interested in one question: what helps us recognize our own path and follow it?

For me, this begins with knowing ourselves better. Understanding what matters to us, what supports us, and what drains us. Taking our body seriously. Knowing our needs and our boundaries. And making decisions that fit the life we want to live.

The closer we are to ourselves, the more clearly we can see what feels right for us and how we want to take care of ourselves.

This idea has grown into several different areas of my work.

Rise and Thrive

Orientation During and After Cancer

After a cancer diagnosis, an enormous amount of information arrives at once. Medical appointments, test results, treatment decisions, online research, and advice from people around you all compete for your attention. At the same time, you are expected to make decisions about your body and your life.

Information alone does not create orientation.

Rise and Thrive helps you understand what matters for you, recognize the choices that are still yours to make, and shape your path during and after cancer with greater clarity.

My work brings together three perspectives: physician, patient, and family caregiver.

No More Than This

Closer to Yourself. Every Day.

No More Than This grew from questions that reach far beyond illness: How do I want to live? What truly matters to me? What do I need? Where do I keep putting myself last? And what do I want to change in my life?

The 180 reflections invite you to stop for a moment and give your own thoughts some space. The journal accompanies you for twelve weeks, helping you look more closely, understand yourself better, and bring what you discover into your everyday life.

Both bring you back to the same place again and again: yourself.

Taking Care of Your Body

Our body is part of who we are. For me, taking good care of ourselves therefore also includes the question of how we can support it well.

With Machinaro, I develop high quality supplements while deliberately focusing on a small number of products. What matters to me are meaningful formulations, high quality ingredients, and dosages I can stand behind.

Currently, I focus on the German and Austrian markets.

I’m Achim Zinggrebe

I am a physician, author, and cancer survivor. I know cancer from three perspectives: as a doctor, as a patient, and as a family caregiver.

These experiences have shaped the way I see medicine, health, and life itself. I have seen how important orientation becomes when suddenly so much feels uncertain and decisions have to be made without simple answers.

Today, I write about these questions and develop books, journals, and other resources around them. One question continues to guide my work: what helps us come closer to ourselves and shape our lives more consciously from that place?
